Betty Russell Griffin, 88, passed away at her home in Ardmore on Friday, March 31, 2017.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home at 3 P.M. with Rev. Johnny Clardy officiating. The family will receive friends at Ardmore Chapel Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” and Rachel Allen Russell, her husband: Louie Alvin Griffin, son: Steven Griffin, granddaughter: Jennifer Griffin, brothers: Nathan, Jack, and Bill Russell, and a sister: Iva Ruth Cross.
She is survived by her son: Dwayne Griffin of Huntsville, Michael (Debra) Griffin of Ardmore, AL, Jack (Rita) Griffin of Orlando, FL, and Richard (Jo Ann) Griffin, Sr. of Prospect, TN, brother: Jim Russell of Rutledge, TN, sister: Joyce Jones of Priceville, TN; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of North Alabama, 3311 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805.
