Harvey B. Hamm, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 31, 1935 to the late Troy Hamm and the late Jewell Hamm Pounders Savage in Tremont. He was Veteran of the US Navy. He worked at Johns Manville for 33 years and had his own vinyl siding business in Illinois and Mississippi. He enjoyed antique cars, dancing, watching westerns and spending time with family and friends. He loved decorating for Christmas and some would say he was competing with Clark Griswold.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday April 9, 2017 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Guth and Ed Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday April 8, 2017 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annie Ruth Hamm of Fulton, 4 Sons, Tim Hamm of Dorsey, Scott Hamm of WI, Randy (Helen) Hamm of Dorsey, Shaun (Kristen) Hamm of Guntown, Grandchildren, Jodi Hamm, Tim Hamm, Jr., Shane Hamm, Codey Hamm, Brandon Hamm, Casey Hamm, Haylee Nesbit, Randy (Cara) Hamm, Jr., Crystal Hamm, John Jones, Kelly (Corey) Lewis, Amberlie Hamm, Kyler Hamm, Keegan Hamm, Karmani Hamm, Alina Hamm, 9 great grandchildren,3 Brothers, Rex (Rita) Hamm, Rich (Joan) Savage, Roy (Mary) Savage, 2 Sisters, Bonnie (John) Boldt, Connie (Windy) Carter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Tracy Lynn Hamm, 3 grandsons, Scotty, Ryan, and Corey Hamm, stepbrother, Doynal Pounders, and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
