Dwight Escue, 68 years old of Moulton, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Prince officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Dwight was retired as a machine operator for Monsanto and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Thomas Escue; his brother, Larry Escue and his grandparents, Wes and Ida Horton.
He is survived by his mother, Irene S. Horton Escue of Moulton; his sister, Delois Shields and her husband, Bordrie of Moulton; three nieces, Casey Nelson and her husband, Jarrison of Trinity, Kristi Roland and her husband, Brian of Georgia and Kesha Davis and her husband, Robert of Moulton; two great-nieces and five great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Horton, Jerry Horton, Gary Horton, Bobby Horton, Farrell Lipscomb, Jarrison Nelson, Danny Morris and J.P. Nelson.
