FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the arrest of one suspect on Monday, March 27 for Burglary and Theft:
“Jason Pennington was arrested yesterday following a suspicious persons call in the area of Cypress Mill Road.
Officers responded to the area in an attempt to locate a suspicious male and female who were arguing.
As officers arrived Pennington was seen placing an item out of the sight of officers. The items, power tools, were located and identified by a resident as having just been stolen from their home.
Pennington was arrested at the scene and charged with Burglary and Theft.
He is currently in the LCDC on bond totaling $2,500.00.
The female was released at the scene when it was determined that she was not involved in any criminal activity.”
