Funeral service for Carolyn Marie Peak Godeke, 65, of Jasper, formerly of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 27th, 2017 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Jones Chapel Cemetery, Dr. Ralph Andrews officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home, 461 U.S. Hwy. 278 East, Cullman, AL 35055 is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Godeke passed away Friday, March 24th, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 9, 1951 to Homer Marion & Catherine Huffstutler Peak.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roney Wood.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Randy Godeke; son, Jamey Wayne Wood (Kelli) of Gardendale, AL; Grandson, Logan Wayne Godeke Wood; granddaughter, Michael Armbrust (Billy); Great Grandson, Braxton; grandson, Jacob Mitchell; great-grandson, Aiden Mitchell, Grandson, Jordan Mitchell; daughter, Amy Beth Rigsby, Jasper, AL; grandson, James ‘Luke’ Rigsby of Jasper; brothers, Charles Peak, Bruce Peak, Benny Peak, Brian Peak; sisters, Judy Steipp, Rita Hancock; aunts, uncles, special friends and everyone she met.
Carolyn was a graduate of the 1969 West Point High School class. Her special hobbies/interests included spoiling grandsons, fishing, video bingo, family gatherings, facebook.
