Anthony “Tony” Roberts, age 52, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was born March 27, 1964 to Carolyn Gowan Roberts and the late Edward Wayne Roberts. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Roberts, paternal grandparents, Valton and Orlean Roberts, maternal grandparents Wallace and Christine Gowan. Tony worked many years as a welder and tree topper. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 25th at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Larry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the New Providence Cemetery. Memorial donations are asked to go to the Providence Cemetery Fund % Barry Watts, 577 Petty Hollow Rd Lynnville, TN 38472. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Gowan Roberts, sons, Josh and Justin Roberts, granddaughter Aubree Roberts all from Lawrenceburg, TN, and sister, Debra (Johnny) Ervin of Lewisburg, TN.
