Horace Wayne Bartlett, 74, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mr. Bartlett was a former musician and nightclub owner. He was owner and operator of Bartlett Carpeting, the leader of the Jaguars group in 1962 and a member of the Emmanuel Churches of Christ in New Market.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Bartlett; three children: Jeanne Loveday, Ricky Gray, and David Bartlett; two stepchildren, Joyce Fillingim and Laura Richard; three brothers: Dennis Bartlett, David Bartlett, and Randy Bartlett; sister, April Ward; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Sunday at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Ronald Banks, Elder Fae Harwell, and Elder Dennis Bartlett officiating followed by burial at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
