Syble Nash Kidd – Obituary

Syble Nash Kidd, age 94, born March 10, 1923, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the home of her youngest daughter in Summertown, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, married December 13, 1942 to Harley Hugh Kidd and raised a family of five children in Summertown, TN. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family, sewing, and raising and putting up fruits and vegetables from her large garden. She belonged to the Church of Christ Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Hugh Kidd; her parents, Lewis H. and Berdie Griggs Nash; and three brothers, Warner D. Nash, Finis L. Nash, and Marion L. Nash.

She is survived by

Peggy Kidd Field (Mike), Centerville, TN

Nancy Pennington Bellar (Claude), Greenbrier, TN

Several Nieces and Nephews

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017, with Beau Jensen and Danny Burns officiating.  Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to the March of Dimes.
