Phyllis Jean Cox of Somerville passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1935 in Hudson, Michigan to Carl Simon Taylor and Bertha Margaret Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Max Cox; three sons, Harvey Junior Cox, Carey Wayne Cox, Charles Rick Cox; and one daughter, Susan Jean Cox.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage with Pastor Jimmy Chenault officiating. Burial will follow in Hartselle City Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
