Logan “Jack” Trousdale, Jr. – Obituary

Mr. Logan “Jack” Trousdale, Jr., 87, of Florence, passed away on March 14, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Bethel Berry Church of Christ; IBEW Local 558 Journeyman Electrician; and a United States Navy veteran in World War II.

He enjoyed working on his tractors and in his shop and going to the sale barn. Jack loved being with his family and riding in the country. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, March 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Jerry Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Trousdale; grandson, Logan Trousdale IV; and seven sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Trousdale of 22 years; daughters, Patricia (Ronnie) Weaver and Laurie (Tracy) Perkins; sons, Logan (Marilyn) Trousdale and Jim (Kaye) Trousdale; grandchildren, Missy, Ron, Eric, Scott, Amy, Kati, Kelsey, Cable, Myia and Dallas; and great-grandchildren, Jaselynn, Lakelynn, Ella and Kane.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Butler, Jeff Miller, Joe Swann, Ron Weaver, Melvin Stevenson, and Kane Weaver.
