Robert Eugene Berry, age 66, passed away March 13, 2017. Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, March 17, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Bob was retired from Mid-South Extrusion after more than 30 years service. He loved riding his motorcycle and playing music playing the bass in several bands throughout his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warrington and Ruby Berry, and nephew, Jack Bower.
Survivors include his loving wife, Deborah Price Berry; children, Melanie (Ryan) Irvin, Rachel (Chris Brock) Berry, Scott Berry, Shane (Emily) Berry, Judy (Jimmy) Staten, and David O. (Lauryn) Allen; siblings, Gilford (Hue) Berry, of Westmister, California, Larry (Patricia) Berry, of St. Joseph, Tennessee, and Beverly (Ronnie) Bower, of Elsie, Michigan; grandchildren, Abigail, T.J., Julia, Ashley, Hallie, Noella, Haven, Matt, Maggie, Devin, Reanna, Isabella, Peyton, and Kamy Jo; and great-grandchildren, Ella and Maddie.
Pallbearers will be Shane Berry, Ryan Irvin, David O. Allen, Devin Turbyfill, T.J. Cromwell, Chris Berry, Tim Heigle, and Danny Scott. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Delores Watkins and his grandchildren.
The family would like to express appreciation to Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Felix Morris, Dr. Patrick Daugherty, and special caregiver Kristen James.
