Michael Dudley Morris, 61 of Joppa, the Hulaco area, died Monday March 12, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Morris was born April 26, 1955 in Hammond Indiana to James Dudley Morris and Marilyn Blackburn Morris. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked as a Respiratory Therapist. He had lived in the Hulaco area for 23 years.
He was of the Native American Faith.
Mr. Morris is survived by his children and in-laws: Anthony Michael and Tia Morris, Vera Ellison and Larry Hudson; his mother: Marilyn Morris; his brothers and sister-in-law: Arnold and Sue Morris and James Danny J.D. Morris; sisters and brother-in-law: Teresa and Arthur Bolduc and Betty Lark; grandchildren: Blake Ellison. Jade Hartman, Tyler Morris and Emily Morris and a great grandchild: Harleigh Carnes. He was preceded in death by his father: James Morris and a sister Rae Jean Davis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday March 18, 2017 at Mr. Morris’s residence located at 3258 Hulaco Rd., Joppa Al 35087.
The family elected cremation with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting.
