Jacquelyn Faye Floyd Zenik – Obituary

Jacquelyn Faye Floyd Zenik, age 82, passed away March 11, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, from noon-2 p.m. at North Wood United Methodist Church. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Reverend Wayne Williams and Reverend Scott Coats officiating. Entombment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Zenik was retired from Reynolds Alloys. She was an active member of North Wood Methodist and volunteered at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She loved Tennessee football, cooking, and traveling with family and friends. She was always taking care of others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Idella Floyd; brothers, Preston, William (Bill), Jim, and Ray Floyd; and sisters, Elizabeth Dugger Lynn and Betty Floyd Buchanan.

At the death of her sister, Betty Floyd Buchanan, she took in Betty’s sons Dale, Johnny and Jeff and raised them as her own. With that, she gained their children Cody, Whitney, Justin, Sara and Will as special nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, William Zenik; brothers, Bobby (Joyce) Floyd, of Santa Fe, Tennessee, and David (Gwen) Floyd, of Sumter, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Dugger, Randy “Buzz” and Ryan Floyd, Justin, Cody, Jeff, Johnny and Dale Buchanan, and Wesley Dugger.

The family would like to express their appreciation to special neighbors, John and Susan Mosley.
