Glen Dale Parrish, 69 of Joppa, the Hulaco Area, died Wednesday March 8, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Parrish was born September 1, 1947 in Arkansas to Reece Parrish and Blanche Irene May Parrish. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in construction as a carpenter. His wife Sue Thompson Parrish preceded him in death on May 16, 2007.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Lynn and Carol Parrish; daughter and son-in-law: Kellie Parrish Thomas and Bobby; grandchildren: Jonathan Couch, Charlie and Thomas Broxton, Tyler and Olivia Parrish, Gabriel Parrish, Christian Parrish and Savanna Parrish and four Great Grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: Troy and Pat Parrish. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sue Parrish and his parents: Reece and Blanche Parrish.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 12, 2017 at Union Grove First Baptist Church with Brother: Greg Narrell, officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Union Grove First Baptist Church prior to the service.
