Willard Dean Ashford – Obituary

Willard Dean Ashford of Prospect passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Anthony Hill on July 26, 1933 and is 83 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was retired from the Pulaski Water Department and a veteran of the United States Army.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 10th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow visitation at 4:00pm.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery
Memorial donations are suggested to Oak Grove Cemetery Fund, % Dean Hughes, 906 Nance Road, Pulaski, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenard Stacy and Myrtle Stafford Ashford, a daughter Kathy Ashford, brothers, Buddy Ashford and Leonard Ashford, Jr , and a sister Peggy Ashford Bates.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Jean Coffman Ashford of Stella Community
Son, William “Bo” (Brenda) Ashford of Stella Community
Grand-daughters, Hannah and Sarah Ashford of Stella Community
Brother, Stacy (Gennie) Ashford of Decater
Brother, Glen (Dot) Ashford of Pulaski
Brother, James (Emily) Ashford of Stella Community
Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Willard Dean Ashford.
