Mrs. Corinth Ann Hanvey, 77 of Arab died Monday March 6, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Hanvey was born April 30, 1939 in New York to Alonza Forrest Worthy and Lillye Maude Smith Worthy. She was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a member of The River Church in Guntersville.
Mrs. Hanvey is survived by her husband of 49 years: Ray Hanvey; her children and in-laws: John Wesley and Theresa Parrish, Glenda Kay and Troy Stanley, Debra Diane and Ken Sypher and Teresa Marie and Steven A. Trent; a sister: Shirley McNair; grandchildren: Amber and Scott Saylor, Ashley and Jason Gronczniak, Tiffany Trent, Haley and Ethan Seely, Jessica Stanley, Debbie Stanley, Danon Smith, Joshua Hoagland, Ashley and Brian Edwards; great grandchildren: Hunter Gronczniak, Kayden Gronczniak, Karli Gronczniak, Olivia Saylor, Jude Martinez, Sawyer Hoagland, Blake Blackmon, Tessa Edwards and Blake Edwards. She was preceded in death by her parents Alonzo and Lilly Worthy; two brothers: Charles Worthy and Ralph Worthy; two sisters: Helen Dingler and Alisia Loyd.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday March 11, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Pastor: Leslie Lupton, Billy Sharpe and H.E. LeFevor, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Scott Saylor, Michael Worthy, Jason Gronczniak, Hunter Gronczniak, Ethan Seely and Steve Trent.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday March 11, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
