Jane Leonhardt Easley – Obituary

Jane Leonhardt Easley, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017. Mrs. Easley was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and grew up in Sheffield, Alabama. She lived in Huntsville for the past 56 years. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. Jane was an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church.

She was employed at Redstone Arsenal, was owner of The Algerian Eye Needlecraft Shop, and retired as a legal secretary.

Survivors include her son, Mills Robert Coleman Jr.; her sister, Suzanne Swearingen, both of Huntsville; and nephews, Thomas Chandler Swearingen and Tom Lenox; and sons, Jack and Charley.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11th, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 5003 Whitesburg Dr., with Dr. Tom Lovell officiating. Visitation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
