Jackie Sue Fowler, 79, of Greenhill, passed away March 3, 3017, at ECM Hospital. She was a Hairdresser and a homemaker. She was a Member of Shiloh Church of Christ, devoted wife of 57 years, loving mother and doting grandmother. She loved cooking for her family, spending time with loved ones, and her fur babies.

Survivors include:

Husband: Joe Frank Fowler

Son: Brian Fowler (Donna)

Brother: Bill Canerday (Joan)

Sister of the heart: Norma Carpenter

Grandchildren: Bailey & Darby Fowler

Proceeded in death by:

Parents: Edgar Canerday & Della Estelle Holden Canerday

Brother: Jim Canerday & wife Betty

Visitation will be Sunday, March 5, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, March 6, at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Howell Bigham, Ronnie Ray, and Henry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Clemmons, Eric Clemmons, Barry Canerday, Ray Carpenter, Wayne Hines, Jeff Wright, John Passarella, and Jim Fowler.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Danny Abernathy, David Matthews & Doug Watkins.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Steve Wampler and the staff at Greenhill Family Clinic, for their care and compassion. Thanks beyond measure go out to her caregiver and very special friend Sally Richardson and Southern Care Hospice – especially Christy & Tammy, also, Melinda Thompson and staff at Greenhill Pharmacy.

Thanks also to all of the neighbors, friends and loved ones who cared for her with food, visits, cards and prayers.

Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
