Samuel Tucker Wharton, 19, of Arab, died Sunday February 26, 2017 at Valley Head, Alabama.
Mr. Wharton was born July 9, 1997 in Morgan County to James Barry Wharton and Sue Ann Tucker Wharton. He was a graduate of James Madison School in Atlanta and was formerly employed by Sherwood Cabinet Shop in Arab as a machine operator. Mr. Wharton enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors and practical jokes, loved life and his family.
He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Wharton is survived by his parents: James Barry and Sue Ann Wharton; a brother: Jacob Russell Wharton and his grandmother: Janice Burks. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Betty Tucker and his first cousin Amber Talley.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday March 3, 2017 at Arab First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Herbert, Pastor: Clay Hatcher and Brother: Tony Henderson, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens in Fort Payne, Al.
Pallbearers will be Will Clark, Tyler Clark, Colton Smith, Greyson Hall, Wes Trammell and Will Spencer.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday March 2, 2017 at Arab First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West Florida Team Challenge, 1213 Hope Circle Bonifay, Florida 32425.
