Howard Cornelius “Boots” Pepper, 87 of Cullman, Alabama died on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
Born Monday, June 17, 1929 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of the late FL Pepper and the late Lillie Jones Pepper. He was a member of Sincoe Baptist Church in Cullman, AL. He loved bluegrass music and selling Christmas trees. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Annie Lewter Pepper, son: Ray Ervin, and grandson: Nicholas Pepper.
Surviving are sons, Timothy C. Pepper of Decatur, AL, Jeffery Lynn Pepper of Cullman, AL and EJ Ervin of Elkmont, AL, daughters, Cindy Stidham of Cullman, AL, Pamela Williams of Huntsville, AL and Debbie Darsey of Gulfport, MS, brother, Harold Pepper of Athens, AL, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one gr-gr-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
