D. C. O’Steen, 95, of Florence died Thursday, February 23, 2017, at his residence.

A private graveside service will be held at Florence City Cemetery.

Mr. O’Steen was a WWII veteran serving in the Pacific Theater, in the Army Air Force. He was President and Owner of O’Steen Tile and Marble Company. He was a Christian and worshipped with the College View Church of Christ.

Mr. O’Steen was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Inez O’Steen; 2nd wife, Deedie O’Steen; two brothers, Bill and Dossey O’Steen; sister, Ann O’Steen Rowe; parents, D. C. and Allie O’Steen, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Pat O’Steen.

Mr. O’Steen is survived by his two daughters, Beth Kasmeier (Ed) and Amy Burrows (Ed); three sons, D. C. O’Steen III (Sandy), Wally O’Steen (Colleen), and Chap O’Steen (Gay); ten grandchildren, Deedie Simpson, Doug O’Steen, Craig O’Steen, D. C. O’Steen, IV, Rona Swindall, Ben and Thomas Burrows, Haley, Rosalind, and Claire O’Steen; eight great-grandchildren.
