Judy Lynn Phifer, 62, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was born August 11, 1954, to Floyd and Faye Robinson Griffie. She was a long-time resident of Fulton but had resided in Belmont during the last five years. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Larry Hill and Bro. Tim Holsonback officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Phifer of Belmont; two sons, Shane Stanford (Kristen) of Chesterville, VA, and Matt Stanford (Shanna) of Fulton; two daughters, Christy Austin (Chris) of Burnsville and Anna Dix (George) of Pontotoc; one brother, Kenneth Griffie of Amory; one sister, Jean McCarthy of Mantachie; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Martha Ruth Fikes; and a brother-in-law, Billy Jack McCarthy.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 24, at the funeral home.
