Gayle Chenault Glover, 76, of Moulton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at NHC in Moulton. She was born Dec. 16, 1940 in Moulton to Viola Long Chenault and Oscar Wesley Chenault, who both precede her in death.
Her service will be held at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 with Dr. Jesse Reeder and O.D. Bowling officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with service to follow. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
She is survived by her husband of 60-plus years, Dewayne Glover; one son, Jeffrey J. Glover (Sandy) of Weaver, Alabama; one daughter, Ginger G. Bevel (Terry) of Decatur; one brother, Don Chenault (Carol) of Decatur; one grandson, Tyler Wayne Bevel of Decatur; one granddaughter, Aspen Lynn Bevel of Decatur; two stepgranddaughters, Jessica Bevel Entrekin (Adam) of Huntsville and Ashley Atherton Branham (Reggie) of Cleveland, Tennessee; three stepgreat- grandchildren, Zaden, Zanten and Zellah Branham of Cleveland, Tennessee; two nieces, Andrea Chenault Payne (Travis) of Decatur and Amy Camille Chenault of Decatur; one nephew, Dr. Wesley Jackson Chenault of Richmond, Virginia.
She was a 1958 graduate of Lawrence County High School in Moulton. She was a member of Moulton Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She was retired from CB&S Bank and was vice president of the Citizens Bank for many years. Gayle was such a classy lady and brought a smile to everyone who met her. She was loved by so many.
Pallbearers will be Joe Glover, Mickey Jones, Travis Payne, Dr. Wesley Chenault, Ronnie Stewart and Adam Entrekin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Rains, Wayne Gentry, Harvey Elliott, Lyndon Letson, David Hogan, J.T. Masterson and Dr. Edwardo Gonzalez.
