Jeffery Lynn Evans, 61, passed away Feb. 21, 2017, at his home. Mr. Evans was a pipefitter and member of Pipefitters Local No. 760 and a Baptist. He was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
Mr. Evans is survived by wife, Vicki Sharpe Evans; son, Jeffery Brenton Evans, of Florence; brother, Arthur Dale Evans, of Demopolis, Alabama; and granddaughter, Abigail Grace Evans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Everett Evans and Alease Crain Evans.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Cole, Jamie Weeks, Ron Parker, Ted Buttrum, Brenton Evans, and Kevin Butler.
