Vernon E. Lovett, age 83 of Russellville, AL. passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 2-4 PM at Akins Funeral Home Russellville. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 4PM in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. John McCullar officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lois Lovett, one brother James Lovett and his father and mother in law Dock and Velma Davis.
Vernon was survived by his wife of 58 years Lera Lovett, his son Ronnie Lovett, his daughter Shannon Smith (Melvin), his sisters Floy Mae Tidwell (Radford), and Jessie Faye Ellenburg, grandchildren Alexander Smith and Lauren Lovett.
