Betty Gail O’Brien, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, February 18, at 1:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Dusty Medlock will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Miss O’Brien was born October 2, 1936, to the late Jack and Mary Elizabeth Styles O’Brien. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Danny, and uncle and aunt, Frank and Mildred Styles Stone.
Betty was employed by the Times Daily for fifteen years. She worked as a paper carrier, and then served as a circulation distribution manager.
Survivors include a number of cousins.
