FLORENCE – Libby Jordan, Director of Florence Arts and Museums, gave the Quad-Cities Daily a tour of the newly built Indian Mound Museum. The facility is just alongside the biggest earthen mound build by Native Americans of the Woodland Period. It is situated down near the river bank on the south end of the City. The site for decades was home to a museum, that for years had fallen into a sad state. But this facility will simply amaze!

The Museum is open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10 AM until 5 PM. Adult admission is $5 and kids are $2… Click here to visit the web page.
