Funeral services for Mr. Danny Blankenship, age 63, are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Unity Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. Mr. Blankenship passed away Sunday in Lexington. He was born January 2, 1954 in Lexington to the late Arvil and Earlene Young Blankenship. He was the owner of Danny Blankenship Bonding Company, liked Tennessee Football, and enjoyed farming and boating. He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge in Henderson and was President of Tennessee Association of Professional Bonding Agents. Survivors include his daughter, Danielle Burns (Jessie); his sister, Phyllis Blankenship Holmes; five grandchildren, Dustin Bullington, Natasha Estes, Kodie Pusser (Caleb), Zackary Melton, and Courtney Burns; three great grandchildren, Bailey Estes, Remington Dunavant, and Hunter Pusser; nephew, Jason Holmes; and several cousins.
