Mary Evelyn Hutcheson Clark, 86, went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 10, 2017 at Plantation Manor, McCalla, Al. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Plantersville, MS. She was born July 26, 1930 in the Jugfork Community, MS.
She married Bobby Kent Clark of Milan, TN on May 11, 1952 who served and retired from the U. S. Army and they were stationed in England, Hawaii, Germany and many States. After her husband retired from the Army they settled in Plantersville, MS in 1970. She was the Assistant Manager of McCrory’s until her retirement. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed playing games on her computer, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her church family and those in her Sunday-School class.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Balint officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation Monday at Lee Memorial from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her sons Paul Kent Clark (Charlotte) of Birmingham, AL., and Roy Allen Clark of Madison, MS and two half-brothers, Wesley Earl Hutcheson Jr. of Belmont, MS. and Randall Hutcheson of Yazoo City, MS.; five grandchildren Alexis (Emmitt) Taylor of St. Augustine, FL., Britt (Jared) Jones of Decatur, GA., Morgan Clark (Shauna) of Hamilton, MS., Jennifer Self (Tommy) of Pontotoc, MS. and Billy Earnest (Melissa) of Hamilton, AL; nine great-grandchildren Jonathan, Trey and Ryan Taylor; Lydia Diane, Emerson Patrick and Issac Parker Jones; Myles Joseph and Thayer James Clark; Tyler and Paul Self and Noah Earnest. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Bobby Kent Clark, parents Wesley Earl and Nancy Emaline Wages Hutcheson; brothers Emery Earl Hutcheson, Frances Hutcheson (Bell), Leroy Hutcheson and James Andrew Hutcheson (Joyce) and sisters Keron (Robert) Gattis, Virginia (Ottis) Kennedy, Ruby Katherine (Willie) Lofton and Helen Juanita Garner Hankins (Bud).
Pallbearers will be Billy Earnest, Noah Earnest, Paul Self and Deacons of First Baptist Church of Plantersville.
