FLORENCE-A really unique business celebrated their grand opening on Monday, January 30…Suga Shock Kids opened their doors to bring a relaxing and fun experience to the kids of the Shoals. Located in Florence at 1326 North Pine Street Suga Shock Kids held a ribbon cutting and friends and family along with The Shoals Chamber were on and for the event.

Now a little about Suga Shock Kids from Suga Shock Kids:

“Being a child is hard work. That’s why it’s important for kids to take a little time to rest and regroup. Leave it all behind: school, chores, extracurricular activities, and sports. Need a place to relax? Well, good news! Suga Shock Kids is a place where children can have a positive experience all around. Colorful decor! Lots of playful pampering! Tons of fun!

We offer Special Pampering Activities to nontraditional clientele, namely those too young for a driver’s license! Children can come to Suga Shock to receive mini manicuties and pedicuties, facials, and glitter tattoos. There is also a creation station where they can indulge and create their own lotion, body wash, and more (different activities each month). In addition to spa services, we also offer child novelties as well as bath & body products available in popular scents, such as Hot Cocoa, Bubble Gum, and Cotton Candy.

Parents can treat their little ladies to a grown up indulgence on a kid friendly level. Our aim is to encourage fun, promote self-care, and create positive self-esteem. The staff loves working with children and will provide your little glam girl with an unforgettable experience. What little princess or diva doesn’t love some good pampering? Whether celebrating your child’s birthday, taking out the girl scouts, or just because, we have the party package you need as well as individual services just for you! “

The Shoals Chamber was on hand to capture the event in photos and we are proud to present them to you here:
