Betty Wadene Johnson – Obituary

Betty Wadene Johnson, 79, died Friday, January 27, 2017, at The Meadows. She was born February 27, 1937, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to Wade and Ollie Sutton Stephens. She was a housewife and a Baptist in belief. She loved fishing, drinking Dr. Pepper, and watching the Atlanta Braves.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, at the Keyes Cemetery with Dr. Kevin Clayton officiating.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Johnson and Terry Johnson, both of Arkansas; one brother, James Stephens of Somerville, TN; six grandchildren, Sarah Davis (Joshua) of Fulton, Jennifer Wilson of Tennessee, and Kenneth Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Blake Johnson, and Joshua Johnson, all of Arkansas; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jimmy Ewell Johnson; three sons, Ronnie, Dennis, and Chip Johnson; one brother, J.E. Stephens; and her parents.
