A Celebration of Life for Steven Juan Boyles, 40. Decatur will be Thursday Jan. 26, 2017 at 6 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Steven Juan Boyles was born February 2, 1976 to Willie B. Boyles and Shelia M. Boyles in Decatur, AL. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend. Steven was a carpenter by trade, but was good at anything he tried his hand at. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of his back. He had an absolutely infectious grin, laugh, and personality. He loved fishing and anything to do with water.
He is preceded in death by his mother; Shelia McBride Knop of Hartselle, grandparents; John C. and Louann McBride, Dallas and Jane Boyles Crowell all of Decatur, and Leonard Faye Boyles of Mt. Hope.
He is survived by his wife Jamie Ricks Boyles, three daughters; Kara Boyles, Brittney Boyles and Ashlyn Lowery, one son Devin Lowery, one granddaughter Ryan Zimmerman all of Hartselle, parents; Willie and Tina Boyles of Somerville and Jimmie Knop of Hartselle, two sisters; Krystal Boyles (Tina), and nephew Maddox Shannon of Crane Hill and Ashton Brellenthin (Stephen) of Avon, IN, two brothers; Scott Dutton of Decatur and Jim Knop (Sabrina) and nephew Peyton Knop of Caddo, one grandmother; Jimmie Ann McBride and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.
