Onice Inez Worsham – Obituary

Onice Inez Worsham, age 104, of Florence, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 20th from noon to 1 p.m. at First Freewill Baptist Church of Florence. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Bro. Phil Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Worsham was born on Sept. 17, 1912, in Tishimingo County, Mississippi. She married V.E. Worsham and was widowed in 1983. She worked as a sewing machine operator for Town Creek, Sweetwater Mills and Genesco.

Mrs. Worsham was a loving mother and grandmother who raised three children. She was loved by all of her family and friends. She was the oldest of eight children and the last surviving sibling. She was a longtime member of First Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three sons, Jimmy Worsham, Houston Graham and William Graham. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sheila Worsham; grandchildren, Joni Duncan (Zane), Rufus Graham and Keith Graham; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Donald Deaton, Lester Deaton, Bud Pardue, Dennis Burfield, Zane Duncan and Charles Holland.
