James “Buck” Lester Simmons, 63, of Moulton passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Lawrence Medical Center. Visitation will be 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton AL. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Roger Loosier officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden Cemetery. He was a member of Moulton Congregational Christian Church. Lawrence Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
Survivors include his wife: Freda Potter Simmons, one son; Jamie (Bridgett) Simmons, of Elgin, one daughter; Jacklyn Simmons, of Moulton, one granddaughter Jazmine Scott. A special daughter; Carlie (Jason) Barber; and two special granddaughters; Kylie and Bentlee Barber.
He was preceded in death by his father; Chester Simmons and mother Barbara Latham Simmons; and on daughter; Stephanie Simmons
Pallbearers will be Derek Parker, Dusty Dutton, Rickey Johnson, Donald Kidd, Micheal Jeffreys, and Jason Heflin.
