Leldon M. “Willie” Sutton Graveside services for Leldon M. “Willie” Sutton, age 93 of Cullman, will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday January 14, 2017 at Duck River Cemetery, with Bro. Sherman Bailey officiating.

Mr. Sutton was born on August 20, 1923 to the late Charles & Minnie Gable Sutton; and passed away at home on January 12, 2017. Leldon was an Army veteran of World War II, and a recipient of two Purple Hearts, he also worked many years and retired from US Steel. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Helen Latham; three brothers, Walter, Ray & Rex Sutton; and one grandson, David R. Sutton II.
Survivors include his Wife – Von Stricklin Sutton; 2 – Daughters – Sherri (Sam) Essary & Monica (Rick) Blackwood; 3 – Sons – Steven (Joelene) Sutton, David (Debra) Sutton & Brady P. O’Rear; 9 – Grandchildren; 8 – Great-Grandchildren.
