, 89, Russellville, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Helen Keller Hospital.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Eastside Baptist Church, Russellville. The body will lie in state from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 with the service following at the church. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Jeff Fleming. Burial will be at Gray Rock Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bud” Garrison; children, Hubert Garrison, (wife, Freida), Hulon Garrison (wife, Cathye), R.V. Garrison, Shirley Foster (husband, Tom); grandchildren, Debbie Dabbs, Steven Garrison, Mike Garrison, Heath Garrison, Thomas Foster; great-grandchildren, Kim Brooks, Michael Vandiver, Tyler Garrison, Bailee Garrison; sisters, Thelma Hutcheson, Dee Mancine, Colena Winsted; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isreal & Dissie Newell; brothers, Vetrice, Odia, Coy, and William Newell; sister, Ellean Kimbrough; grandson, Harold Garrison, Marty Garrison; and great-grandson, Chris Vandiver.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Helen Keller Hospital and to our family and friends for the visits, prayers, and phone calls.
