Mr. Carlos Louis Cook, age 90, of Decatur, AL, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at his residence. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Cook was born May 18, 1926, in Florida, to Chester Cook and Florence Nichols Cook. He was preceded in death by one son, John Cook, and his parents. Mr. Cook was a veteran of the United States Army and the Air Force, and worked for Cook’s Pest Control, where he was a department manager.
He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Watkins Cook of Decatur; and two sons, James M. Cook of Decatur, AL, and Carlos R. Cook of Cape Coral, FL.
