FLORENCE – Last Saturday was the culmination of a weeks-long contest to win a trip-for-two out to the Super Bowl in Houston this February. The “Big Game Challenge” took place at University Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat on Florence Boulevard. And the Dealership was packed with fans!

Here’s how it worked… University and Q107, WQLT put together a prize package for 2 people for the BIG GAME that includes tickets; airfare to Houston; hotel accommodations and $500 dollars. All told, the package is worth about five-thousand bucks.

When the contest began back in November, listeners had to text BIG GAME to the radio station for a a chance to qualify for the contest. Then, as the the contest period progressed, listeners continued with texting keywords to WQLT for prizes. At the event on Saturday, Q107 gave away a 40-inch TV, Papa Johns gift cards, Tickets to a 2017 Titans game and a Nike gift card to some of the 107 qualifiers who were randomly chosen by the radio station.

For the main prize, the contestants had to throw Nerf footballs into the bed of a beautiful DODGE RAM Truck. The winner had to get more Nerf footballs in the truck than anybody else! And Mr. Tim Hammond nailed the contest!
