Guy Larae Clement – Obituary

Guy Larae Clement, 84, of Red Bay formerly of Haleyville, entered into rest on January 8, 2017 at Generations of Red Bay Nursing Home.

Mr. Clement was born on June 9, 1932, in Phil Campbell. Guy served in the United States Navy for 4 years during the Korean War. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 35+ years, where he was also a Sunday School Teacher. Guy loved to fish and was a member of the Bassmasters Club for years and received fisherman of the year numerous times.

Guy is survived by his daughters, Wanda Joyce King, Sheila Rae Streetman; sisters, Dorothy Mae Frost, Cloyce Jean Dodd; grandchildren, Justin David Pickard, Cassy Lichelle Wilson, DeAnna Lashea Brannon; great grandchildren, Jaxon Cade Wilson, Raelynn Claire Engle, and Elayna Grace Pickard.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elva Lee Clement; parents, Walton and Iren Clement; and brother, Charlie Clay Clement.
