Ray Douglas Taylor, age 72, of Kimbolton, Ohio (formerly of Franklin County), passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at his residence.
The visitation will be will be 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 06, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville, Alabama. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Jackie Richardson and Bro. Ray Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Dempsey Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elliott Taylor; his mother, Ora Richardson Taylor; and sister, Joanne Taylor.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 52 years, Patricia Jones Taylor; his sister, Gayle Taylor Sherrod; brother, Doyle Bruce Taylor; and numerous nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Tommy Sherrod, Timmy Sherrod, Austin Morgan, Ben Norman, Dale Taylor and Glen Jarnigan.
