Patricia Lee Schilling, age 85 of Arab Alabama, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Schilling was born May 2, 1931 in Detroit Michigan to John Wesley Smith and Frances Vivian Sharrow Smith. She was a homemaker. She and her husband, Edward Arthur Schilling moved to Arab from Waterford Michigan in 1972. Mr. Schilling was instrumental in helping with the opening of the Syncro Plant in Arab in 1972. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1998. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Schilling was of the Presbyterian Faith.
She is survived by her children and in-laws: Michael Wesley and Barbara Jo Schilling, Douglas Allen and Sue Schilling, Jeffery Kent Schilling and daughter-in-law Charlotte Schilling, Leeanne and Jeffery Atchley; grandchildren: Stacy and Dennis Judge, Christina and Daniel Tucker, Ryan and Jodie Schilling, James and Tonia Ivey, Mackenzie and Bob Ruona and Stephanie Schilling; great grandchildren: Shayne Ratcliff, Kevin Judge, Jackson Tucker, Kiersten Ratcliff, Samantha Tucker, Sloane Schilling, Brayden Ivey and Brantley Ivey and a very special friend: Nancy Replogle. She was preceded in death by her husband: Edward Arthur Schilling, her parents: John Wesley and Frances Vivian Smith; and a sister: Beverly Ann Deacon.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted the family with these arrangements.
