Ophelia B. Fults, 99, died, Tuesday December 19, 2016 at her home with her daughters at her bedside. She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on July 16, 1917 to Jim Dickerson and Nina Givens Dickerson who preceded her in death along with her husband, Kermit Fults; brother, Ted Dickerson; sister, Geneva Risko; a infant brother, Dee.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Altamont. She owned and operated the Cumberland Café in Altamont and a Shoe store.

She is survived by her daughters, Jane (Dwight) Myers and Nina (Late Greg) Fults; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren;1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Willie Childers and Russell Ladd officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery. Visitation: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
