Bobby L. Clemmons – Obituary

Bobby L. Clemmons Sr., 83, of Anderson, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012, at his residence. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson.

Bobby was a farmer, carpenter in Florence and surrounding area and well known as the “Sausage Man.”

He was preceded in death by his five brothers; one sister; and great-grandson, Stephen Dash Smith.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Dorothy McCrary Clemmons, of 61 years; sons, Michael (Patricia) Clemmons, Timothy (Regina) Clemmons, Jerry (Sheila) Clemmons and Bobby (Beth) Clemmons; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother; six sisters; special friend and brother, Neal (Jo) Lemay; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Daniel, Jeremy, Josh, Jeremiah, Adam, and Nic. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark McIntyre, Ryan Smith, Matt Rosson, Royce White and Roger Parker.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday at noon in the chapel. Burial will follow in Civitan Cemetery.
