Judy Paulette James, 62, Phil Campbell, Ala., passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Russellville Hospital.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with Joe Holmes and Jerry Pounders officiating.
The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville.
She is survived by husband, Carl James, Phil Campbell; children, Karla Thompson and husband, Thomas, Phil Campbell; Carrie Rickman and husband, Eric, Muscle Shoals; Tyler James and wife, Faith Cothrum, Phil Campbell; sister, DewAnn Pierce, Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Caleb Thompson, Lexie Thompson, Addi James, Izzy Grace Rickman, Wyn Rickman; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Inez Swinney, and brothers, Hayward, Buddy and Wendell Swinney.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, will be directing.
