Dora Deane Hale, 87, of Rogersville, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Miller Cemetery with James Waddell officiating.
Ms. Hale was preceded in death by her parents, Turner and Susie Pearl Whitsett; husband, Preston Hale; sister, Gladys Dutton; and brothers, Lynn, Glynn, J.W., Clarence and Duke Whitsett.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Bates; grandchildren, Teresa and Kevin Bates; sister, Marie Waddell; and several nieces and nephews.
