The Victim From Tuesday’s In Motorcycle Crash Near Cherokee Has Been Identified

motorcycle crashCHEROKEE-The victim involved in the crash between an auto and a motorcycle that occurred on Tuesday, October 18 in Cherokee has been identified by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency:

“A two-vehicle crash at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, has claimed the life of a Laceys Spring man. Richard Lewis Todd, 27, was killed when the 2003 Honda motorcycle he was operating collided with a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Larry Charles Houston, 83, of Cherokee.

Todd was pronounced dead on the scene, and Houston was uninjured. The crash occurred on U.S. 72 at the intersection of Maple Street, in the city of Cherokee.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
