Miguel A Adame-Rodriguez
FLORENCE-Florence Police arrested a suspect, Miguel A Adame-Rodriguez after he tried to escape from officers on Monday, October 17. The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the arrest:
“Early yesterday morning officers attempted to stop a vehicle Mr. Adame was driving after he was observed driving erratically along Huntsville Road. Mr. Adame behavior was suspicious to officers and he was asked to exit his vehicle. He complied and then began fighting with officers. During the altercation he took mace from one of the officers depriving him of his ability to use this tool in the apprehension of Mr. Adame. Several officers received minor injuries during the encounter and were treated and released. Mr. Adame was also evaluated for injuries at a local hospital prior to being booked into the Lauderdale County Detention Center on charges of Attempting to Disarm a Law Enforcement Officer, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting arrest. He is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center under bond totaling $5,000.00.”
