coleJesse Austeen Cole, age 95, of Fortville, IN passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Appleton, Tennessee, retired from General Motors, and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Pendleton, Indiana. Mr. Cole served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Vester and Mary Hurn Cole; his wife, Ruth Clayton Cole; two grandchildren, Timothy Cole and Nicole Louden; two sisters, Othella Singleton and Theoda Guthrie; and one brother, Austin Cole.
He is survived by
Daughter – Barbara Miles (Jackie), Lawrenceburg, TN
Son – Ronald Cole (Karen), Gainesville, FL
Son – Don Cole (Ann), Cedar Hill, TX
Daughter – Lynn Louden (Robbie), Fortville, IN
Daughter – Bev Sprague (Dean), Hickory, NC
Son – Sam Cole (Renee), Naperville, IL

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, October 01, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 709 E. Gaines Street, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A Memorial service will be conducted at Immanuel Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 01, 2016, with Robert Hargis and Arnold Brown officiating. Inurnment will follow at 12:30 PM at New Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Lawrence County, Tennessee with full military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to Kammys Kause at kammyskause.org.
