Johnnie Melvin Bradley – Obituary

Johnnie Melvin Bradley, 84, of Killen, Ala., passed away July 31, 2012, after an extended illness. He was a carpenter, anArmy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include sons, Markus Bradley (Nita), of Lexington, Stanley Bradley, of Killen, Randy Bradley (Jennifer), of Killen; daughters, Debbie Bradley (Jerry), of Athens, Ingrid Richardson (Mark), of Athens; brother-in-law, Olin Stutts; sisters, Elva Dean Kilpatrick, Venrice Clie McMurtrey, Bonnie Clemons, Jean Wilkerson; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Nellie Bradley; his wife, Irmgard “Irma” Bradley; brothers, Lewie and Emmett Bradley; and his sister, Juanita Stutts.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2012, from 1-3 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Brother Greg Dial officiating. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery.
