David Joe Coker Sr., 71, of Lexington, passed away July 31, 2012, at ECM Hospital. He was a Baptist, an elevator mechanic, did wood turnings and carvings and attended local art shows.
Survivors include wife, Judy Hostetter Coker; son, David J. Coker II; daughter, Cindy Coker; brother, Stanley Coker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Coker and Adrienne Coker.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home with Brother Randy French officiating.
